JFCS is holding its 29th annual Race With A View on Sunday morning, May 7 at Pierpoint Landing, just steps from the Aquarium of the Pacific in beautiful downtown Long Beach. The event is a 5k or 10k, run or walk as you wish, the purpose is to bring awareness to the importance of access to affordable mental health counseling and support services in our area while raising funds for JFCS to be able to continue working toward our vision of a community healed, one person, one family at a time.
At our website at www.racewithaview.com, you can register, form a team, join an existing team, volunteer, become a Fundraiser and ask friends and family to pledge a donation for your efforts, or declare that you prefer to sleep in on May 7 but are happy to make a donation to our cause.
Would you please help us by promoting our event in any print or electronic communications you may be planning for the balance of March and the month of April? Here are the facts for an easy cut-and-paste, and I’m attaching our Save the Date postcard and masthead as well for your use. Please call me with any questions you may have.
