Erev Shabbat Services on Fridays begin at 7 pm unless otherwise noted.
Feel the energy as our new generation of young adults create services together with our Rabbi, including their favorite melodies and poetry. Join us every first Friday of the month for “Shabbat Tikvah” (Shabbat of Hope). All Hebrew School students, past and present, are welcome to participate. The entire community is invited to attend.
Every second Friday of the month join us for Shabbat With the Torah, this Torah service at Shir Chadash promises to be spiritually rewarding.
Every fourth Friday of the month please join us for a Meditation Shabbat service , where one can experience a deep sense of spirituality, inner peace, and personal inspiration that will carry you through the week.
Saturday Shabbat Services begin at 9:30 am
Once a month we have our ever popular “Torat Nashim” A Shabbat Study Circle For Women… By Women coordinated by Ellen Goldsmith and Linda Waltzman. This is an additional service that begins at 9:45 am during the fall and winter months.
Camp Shir Chadash in Scenic Malibu
Give yourself a gift that you will love and remember. Come to camp with Congregation Shir Chadash in December or January. Join us in building new friendships and increasing our sense of community. There will be two tracks of activities and interest groups: one for adults and another for kids and families. This is definitely an opportunity for adults to connect with other adults in a beautiful, relaxed, and inspirational setting in the hills over-looking the Pacific.
Come one, come all! Individuals, families, couples, grandparents, and grandchildren! From two to ninety-two, we welcome you! It’s about everybody!
You can choose! Here’s a sneak peek at some of the activities that await you from Friday afternoon through Sunday lunch: challah baking, Chanukah crafts for all ages and abilities, Jewish meditation, hiking, talent show, delicious dining, singing, campfire, amazing meals, sports, Torah study, outdoor games, and lots of surprises!
